And dailyflavorful is my little corner of the internet!
I’m the voice, author, and creator behind dailyflavorful. The blog was born in the summer of 2017 while I was still working as a graphic designer at a marketing agency in Portland. One rainy evening, I tried to rescue a wilted batch of herbs by tossing them into a lemon‑rosemary chicken, and the result was so good I snapped a photo and posted the recipe on a tiny WordPress site. I officially launched dailyflavorful in March 2018, promising myself to share “real food that feels like a hug.”
Fast‑forward to today, and the site has grown into a modest food hub that reaches about 120 000 unique visitors each month (as of November 2025). I’ve published more than 350 recipes, from quick weeknight dinners to holiday feasts, and I send a newsletter to 45 000 subscribers every Tuesday. In June 2023, Taste of Home featured my “Maple‑Glazed Roasted Carrots” recipe, and the traffic spike that followed helped me add a printable recipe card feature in early 2024. I’m also proud to have partnered with local farms for a seasonal produce guide that launched in September 2024.
I live in Asheville, North Carolina, with my husband Mark and our two rescue cats, Milo and Juniper. When I’m not whisking batter or testing a new spice blend, you’ll find me on a nearby trail at sunrise, flipping a pancake in under three seconds, or digging through crates of vintage vinyl on my record player. My favorite things are early morning hikes, the smell of fresh sourdough, and the sound of rain on my kitchen window. Thanks for stopping by—let’s keep cooking together, one flavorful bite at a time.
